I know, it's been a while since I updated the web site. My bad.

The eyes. Chris has always had the eyes. Here we have part of a chicken dinner on our face. Since the last checkup the Dr said that he was ready for things like mashed potatos, stews and soft foods. I didn't tell her that he's been eating those for a couple of weeks now.

Here come de ear-grabber! Chris loves to grab things. Anything. During his checkup I tried to distract him while the nurse weighed him. He kept grabbing at the scale non-stop (all for that funny clanking sound). Here we are trying to remove Grampa Denny's ear.

I tired! Chris' hair has finally grown back in. He was born with a lot of brown/black hair but soon rubbed it off on the crib sheets. He's slowly grown it back and it looks to be almost red in certain light. Still a lot of brown in there tho.

The baby-sat club! Chris now has a number of friends at the baby-siiter's house. The ironic fact? He's only ten months old and he's bigger than two of the two-year-olds. The Dr said that he's off the scale for height and in the 95th percentile for weight. He's a hefty boy but he's not chunky.

In this one you can get a feel for how big he really is. He's now 31" tall and 24lbs 3oz. Nancy used to volunteer from time to time to watch him at the school while Liz was taking class.

Hat boy! As you can see, Chris has fun being baby-sat. I like the fact that he gets a lot of social interaction. Lately he's been displaying a little bit of shyness but not to the degree some kids go.

Yes, M'lady? Chris experienced his first Renaissance Festival last sunday (8-26-01). My mom made the shirt and bought the pants. Liz's parents got him the cap while we were there. He had a pair of moccasins but he immediately pulled one off and started chewing on the shoelaces. After the little leather possibles bag hit the muddy wheels, it had to go as well.
